There's a problem with this paper. In the version Orton moves this scene to the middle of Act 1, therefore bringing forward a key piece of action and plot development.
It leaves us questioning our ability to confront authority as well as the origin of authority in the first place. This allows our team to focus on improving the library and adding new essays. Perhaps now is a good moment to look again at Loot by Joe Orton.
